Akhilesh Das Gupta School celebrated the Graduation Day of UKG and Grade II on 24 March,2026 in the Conference Hall with great splendour and enthusiasm. The occasion was honoured by the gracious presence of the Chief Guest, Director Ma’am Ms. Devanshi Das, and the esteemed Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anjana Swami. The programme commenced with a melodious welcome song presented by the students of Grade I, followed by a poised and articulate welcome address by Sarthak Rai of grade I. The highlight of the ceremony was the graduation ceremony, where the young achievers of UKG and Grade II were conferred with certificates and special titles, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. A vibrant dance performance by LKG students captivated the audience. Parents also shared their heartfelt reflections, expressing gratitude towards the institution. The event concluded with a soulful thank-you song by students from UKG and Grade II, followed by a formal vote of thanks.Director Ma’am commended the dedication of both students and teachers and extended her best wishes for their future, while Principal Ma’am also appreciated their sincere efforts and commitment. The ceremony was a memorable and enriching experience, celebrating accomplishments, nurturing confidence, and heralding new beginnings with pride and joy.

Educational Trip to Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden

Akhilesh Das Gupta School organized an educational trip to the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden for the students of Nursery to UKG on 6th March 2026.
The purpose of the trip was to provide young learners with an enjoyable learning experience outside the classroom and help them learn about different animals and birds. The students travelled safely in school buses and were accompanied by five teachers and three support staff members, ensuring proper care and supervision throughout the visit. During the trip, the children were excited to see a variety of animals, birds, and reptiles. The visit helped them understand nature and wildlife in a practical way. Teachers explained interesting facts about the animals, making the experience both educational and fun. The students enjoyed the outing and returned to school with joyful memories and new knowledge about wildlife. The trip was successfully organized and proved to be a valuable learning experience for the young students.

Annual Sports Day celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm

On the 7th of February 2026, the Annual Sports Day of Akhilesh Das Gupta School was organized with great enthusiasm, energy, and sporting spirit on the school campus. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students from Nursery to Grade VII and was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, parents, teachers, and staff members. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the honourable Chief Guest Dr. R.P Sing, Director Sports U.P, Ex. Captain Indian Hockey Team, an Olympian, presently Chief selector of Indian Hockey team. General secretary U.P Hockey Association. The Guests of Honour were the Chairperson Mrs. Alka Das Gupta, Co-Founder of BBD Educational Society and Chancellor of BBD University and Dr. Sudharma Singh a personality of par excellence who graced the occasion and the Chief Guest declared the Annual Sport Day open. The anchors highlighted the importance of sports in nurturing discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and leadership among students. The celebrations began with the school song, which filled the atmosphere with pride and unity, followed by an impressive March Past showcasing discipline, coordination, and confidence. The Sports Oath was administered to uphold the values of fairness and sportsmanship. A spectacular ADG Logo Formation reflected creativity, teamwork, and the collective spirit of the school. One of the highlights of the day was the colourful and graceful Ribbon Wand Drill performed by pre-primary students, which won loud applause from the audience. This was followed by a wide range of sports events designed for different age groups, including sprint races, obstacle races, hurdle races, relay races, and fun races such as Pick and Run, Cross the River, Adventure Track Race and many more. There was a beautiful display of the Parachute Drill by the students of ADGS. The parents’ races and special races for mothers and fathers added excitement and joy to the event. Students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the competitions. Cheers and encouragement from parents and teachers energized the young athletes, making the atmosphere vibrant and lively. The Chief Guest, in his address, motivated students to embrace sports as a way of life and emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held to honour the winners with medals and certificates, recognizing not only victory but also sincere participation and effort. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by the respected Principal, followed by the National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable and inspiring celebration.
