Akhilesh Das Gupta School, Lucknow successfully organised the “Know Your Continent” activity for students of Nursery to Grade II from 14th July to 17th July 2025. The activity was designed to enhance students’ understanding of world geography while introducing them to the culture, landmarks, wildlife, food, and traditions of different continents.To create an immersive and engaging learning experience, each classroom was transformed to represent a specific continent. The vibrant décor included maps, flags, cultural artefacts, educational displays, and elements of music and dance, making learning both interactive and enjoyable. All seven continents were explained in a child-friendly and age-appropriate manner.Students participated enthusiastically and showed great curiosity while learning interesting facts about different continents. The dedicated educators of the Pre-Primary Wing meticulously researched and creatively decorated the classrooms to ensure effective presentation and meaningful learning.The “Know Your Continent” activity proved to be a grand success, transforming academic learning into a joyful and memorable experience. It helped students develop global awareness, curiosity, and an appreciation for the rich diversity of our world.
